Just another week

So, the past week was fun and entertaining. Last Saturday Jason closed the restaurant and I spent the evening with some of my family for Halloween. I was able to trick-or-treat with Lyzi and my cousin Cooper. Austin walked Derick around with us for the first half, but he started fussing so we dropped him back off with Franni and continued our candy accumulation. Lyzi was such a cute wonder pet (Ming-Ming) and hilarious to trick-or-treat with. She didn't want to have anything to do with it at first or with any of the "scary" houses (houses with skeletons), but had a great time at all houses with pumpkins or smiling scarecrows (they aren't scary).  She kept asking, "Can we go to another house?" as she yelled "Coop, wait for me. Coop!" Here is a couple of pics from the evening.
Racee and Derick...cousins and future best friends

On Sunday, in between our Harvest Fest at church and Jason's split shift at work we went to the Thunder vs. Jazz game. I was given tickets from work and they were great seats. We loved going to our first game of the season even though it was probably the worst game they will play all year!

On the work front...one of our sales reps got fired this week and they are splitting up his territory between me and another newer sales rep. I'll hopefully get another 10 customers to add to my territory and a lot more prospects. His territory was Norman, Tuttle and Blanchard so I think I'm going to pick up the Norman customers and Chris will pick up Tuttle and Blanchard. We are both excited to be given new accounts and I just might get up to 20 customers. Work is going well and I am getting the hang of it more and more every day. Next week I will be in training all week and hopefully will leave with a lot more knowledge and confidence in my job.

We also signed a contract on Jason's (OUR) house this week. We are renting it out to the buyer this month and should hopefully close no later than November 30. We are praying that everything goes through and there won't be any hold ups. We did get the inspection back and the house needs a new heater. We aren't looking forward to paying for this, but we want to sell the house and will do whatever it takes. Please pray that everything will go as planned and that in less than a month we will only own 1 house!

Well, I think that wraps up this week. Jason is working tonight so I went to "The Girlie Show" with a couple of friends and now I'm blogging to all of you. We are looking forward to having breakfast with Lindsey and Josh in the morning and I get to hang out with Beth tomorrow night. I think it's going to be a great weekend!
