Happy Thanksgiving a couple days late

So I know that Thanksgiving was a couple of days ago, but I didn't get the chance to tell each of you, so I'm saying it now. We had a great, relaxing Thanksgiving with my mom's family and then spent the evening with Jason's dad, Melissa, Laura and Hannah playing games.  It was nice having a day off together with no other plans then spending time with our family and each other. I'm very thankful for the day's off that Jason and I get together because it's not very often. The past couple of days off have been fixing things on the inspector's list so that we can close on the 30th. We are both ready to not have to take care of two houses, mortgages and bills.  It'll definitely be nice to just have one house to mess with. Thank you Lord for bringing a patient buyer along that wants our house!

Last Wednesday we bought our first Christmas tree together and it's Big!

I'm glad that I can finally put up Christmas decorations and get in the spirit of Christmas. Jason doesn't think you should do it until Thanksgiving so I slowly started putting things up the past week, but now it's in full force!
My stocking isn't lonely any longer. :)

The wreath that I made for the front door.

We also got ourselves an early Christmas present...a Canon EOS Rebel T1i camera. We decided to open it on Thanksgiving so we can start learning how to use all the different settings. Here are a few pictures that we took on Thursday while messing with it.

ahh..they are precious!

Today is Bedlam. There has been a lot of talk the past couple of weeks on who is going to win. Bedlam is a game that you can't predict no matter how well a team has played this season. I'm definitely pulling for my Pokes, but it's anybody's game. I hope they come out and STOMP the Sooners!!
