And I've been trying practicing all the different settings on our new camera. There is so much to learn, but I'm excited to learn the in's and out's and hopefully come up with some really cool pictures. This past Wednesday we helped decorate our church for Christmas. Jason was able to switch his schedule around so he could be there to help.

I need to take some more pictures of everything decorated. Different people helped throughout the week to decorate and we helped the first night, so it looks much better now. We had a great time and it was fun getting to know other leaders in the church a little better.
This past Saturday, I went up to Tulsa for the day to visit some friends since Jason was working. I've been trying to make it up there for quite some time now and it was so refreshing to spend time with Beth, Lindsay and Lindsey. I met Beth and her sweet family in Owasso for some Chick-fil-A. It was super busy, but a great place to meet so the kids could play and adults could chat. I can't believe how much her kids have grown since I saw them last. After Owasso, I drove back to Tulsa to Matt and Lindsay Nelson's. Things were so busy around the time of the wedding that I hadn't had the opportunity to hold baby Jax. He is absolutely precious and full of personality. It was also great catching up with Matt and Linds. We are all in different places in life and living a couple of hours away from each other means we don't get to see each other as often as we used to, but I love that we can pick up where we left off and never skip a beat. I ended the day in Tulsa with Josh and Lindsey. I didn't get to see them very long, but at least we could chat for a few minutes while they fed the kids and got ready for church. I definitely feel very blessed to have great, lifelong friends!
